Maiden Voyage of the U.S.S. Rambler

Awhile ago a dear friend of mine and I decided that we should keep blogs online so that we'd be able to read up on each others lives without all that pesky effort of using a phone. The reasons were simple: I'm scared of my phone and she's a nurse who spends her days watching over very ill children like the biblical saint she is. So far she's put up a blog and I haven't. Well to be fair I actually did years ago, but that one's not where most people including her can see it.

So this is my attempt at putting a portion of my life up online, as a bit of an apology I hope to the friends who have always been awesome and understanding of my growing social phobias and failures to call them back so much of the time. I often personally enjoy reading about people's lives because I'm a huge lurker who has very limited contact with the outside world. So anyone who finds their way here feel free to read, lurk, and poke me with a stick to get proper attention from me. A metaphorical stick mind you because the real ones hurt and will earn you a restraining order.

I'm pretty sure that this is the most serious entry I'll post. With me things usually degenerate quickly into sarcasm, absurdity and the tendency to try to fit llamas into every conversation I possibly can.

  1. Oh it's fine that you're reticent about putting too much of yourself out there. It means I get to talk about myself more, and when you do release a tidbit, it's really special.
